While antique shopping this past weekend, I found and purchased a very formal wedding announcement; it read:
"Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Bruff announce the marriage of their daughter Pearl Beatrice to Mr. Robert Eric Palmquist on Wednesday, the twelfth of August One thousand nine hundred and fourteen Chicago Heights."
The inside card read: "At Home after the twenty-fourth of August 1605 Euclid Avenue."
