Hello Mary Ann;
I haven't been on the computer very much in the last several months. I am taking the holidays as time to catch up on my genealogy.
Are you the person who posted to the World Family Tree showing the Palmquist genealogy? The WFT has John Palmquist as being from Hingman,Sweden;I would like to know where this info came from.
I have information on the parents of Emil Leonard. My great grandfather was his brother John Emil. Their parents were John E. Palmquist and Johanna Sofia (d/o Hans Benson and Anna Falk). John and Johanna had 11 children and I have info on 6 of them. Possible names for the other 5.
Some of the items I have include the death certs for John and Johanna and pictures of their tombstone. Also the will of both Johns.
I am looking for info on the immigration and their parents and places of birth. Also looking for any pictures of the family which may be available. I have a picture which we believe is the photo of John Emil(my ggrandfather). I have a small snapshot of the 50th wedding anniverary of Emil Leonard and Mary with a few of their grandchildren, which I received from Clifford Palmquist in PA. He died recently and is buried with his parent in Union Cem. in Irwin, PA.
Please advise what items you are looking for, and I can make copies if I have them. Also please let me know what you may have.
