Palos Family Name in Portugal
Hello;
I read the messages and found one thing interesting:the messages came from Mexico.I know,or i think that Palos has a Spanish origin.
What i would like to know is if anyone knows something about the Palos name in Portugal.
One thing i can tell you: there's a small Village (Aldeia)in the North interior of Portugal,close to the border (Vilar Formoso/Fuentes de Oñoro),and it's called Miuzela.It may be a small Village,but i never saw so many Palos names in one place.There's also another name (Paulos),in a large number.When i walked with my father,he often sad as we passed someone:"...this man/woman is your cousin".Well,since then i think that half (or more) the Village is my cousin-some i know,others i don't.
I don't know if i'll find any history of the Palos Name in Portugal (it's a beautiful name),but at list i told you about a small Aldeia - MIUZELA do Côa, near the border,that you didn't knew it has a large number of..."Palos people".
Be Good and Behave,Fernando Palos from Portugal.
