Looking for researchers interested in the Palsgrove line listed in 1880 First Ward, Allentown, Lehigh Co., Pa. census: John F. Palsgrove, 48, Pa. Pa. Pa. Julia, 49, Pa. Pa. Pa Henry, 18 Pa Ellen J. 17, Pa. Amie, 13 William C. 12 Alfred, 9 Emma I. 3 I have a Family Bible, Philadelphia 1867, written in Gothic German Script which I do not read. I share it with the viewers and had transcribed as best I can. Appears the older surname is spelled Pfalsgraf. Franklin Pfalsgraf born 5 December 1831 married Julianna, 13 October 1860. Franklin died March 1, 1898, 66-2-25 Julianna died March 15, 1920 Both buried in Phillipsburg, Warren, New Jersey Children: Reuben Henry b. 14 Juli 1861 Ellen Jane born 13 Mar 1863 Ephraim Romig born 9 Aug 1863? Sofra born 18 April 1865 (Sophie, Sarah?) Anna Aknat born 17 Dec 1866 William Oscar born 27 Juli 1868 (Franklin Township, Carbon County, Pa) Alfred 2 Aug 18700 (Allentown, Pa) Francis 18 May 1872 Emmeline 28 June 1876 Grandparents on father's side: Jacob and Mary Palsgrove Grandparents on mother's side: Peter and Annie Reffert I can't make out the tiny cramped handwriting but it appears the grandparents are listed: Jacob and Mary Palsgrove Craig and Julia Reffert I'm not sure if I have the correct spellings but this is the best I can do. I'd like to know more about these Palsgroves both up and down the family tree. My wife's line is from Emmeline. According to family tradition, some of these Palsgroves settled in Phillipsburg, Warren, N.J. and Easton, Northampton, Pa. Would like to hear from others as this is all the information I have.
