Don't know where the PALUMBO came from but born on Dec 10, 1913 in Cori, Itay [not far from Rome] was my father Angelo NMN PALOMBI. He came to America between 1914 - 1916. Parents name Joeseph & Filamena [not 100% sure of th spelling]. Both are buried in BELLAIRE, OHIO AS IS MY FATHER. Joseph died circa 1942 and his wife in 1951. Dad died in 1974. He had two sons [both of us now living in Thailand] and one daughter. I don't see a relation here but it is certainly a place to start.
