Palombo and Palombi
Posted by: Casey Piatt Date: October 12, 1998 at 17:56:09

Anyone know if Palombi comes from the Palombo name or vica-versa? I have heard during the time many that came over on the boats their names were spelled often by the customs agents and often the names were slightly changed due to the large number coming into the country.
My family came from North Italy...and somehow went back through the name Celento.
Thats about all I have on it..except that the Palombi family was and is in Canonsburg Pa...and washington county Pa.
Any help or directions would be appreciated.
