S. Paulo (Brazil) - Amalfi (Italy) - London

Hi all, great site. I'm researching my grandmother, Marianna Palumbo born around 1898 in Sao Paolo Brazil, who went to live in Ravello close to Amalfi in Italy (I have been there and there are a LOT of Palumbos!). She married Gabriel Proto in about 1818 and came to London.

There's been some correspondence about Brazilian Palumbos and I wonder if we're connected. My grandmother always told me that her mother (I don't know her name) was attacked by a leopard in her village and died of the shock, hence her father took her to Italy.

Any leads?

Regards to you all
