Palombos in Scotland

Hi

My great great grandmother Maria Domenica Palombo was born around 1870 in Picinisco. Her parents were Giuseppe Palombo and Serafina Gizzi. I know she had at least one brother, Loreto. Serafina died and Giusepppe remarried Maria Fortuna, and had a daughter Carolina. Maria Domenica eloped with Lorenzo Marcantonio, (her parents thought he wasn't good enough for their daughter!), and came to Scotland around 1890. They had 16 children, nine of whom survived. Marias half sister Carolina married a Magno Campone, and had seventeen children, also in Scotland. Does anyone know this family?

Marisa
