My name is Joseph Palumbo. My grandfather, Joseph Palumbo was born in San Silvestro, Abbruzzi, in 1895. He settled in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I don't know if there is any connection with the families. But who knows? If it would be helpful to share information just e-mail. I am told that I have a distant cousin who is a professor in a university further south in Italy. I may still be able to hunt down his location if you think it could be helpful.
