My Grandfather, Louis Palombi came to the US from Italy at age 17. He was born 1895. The records my mother has on him stated he came from Castro Italy...which we can't find on any map. My mother thought maybe his named was spelled wrong when he came over due to the fact that she has only heard the name "Palombi" twice in her whole life.
