Quite a fluke to type my family name here and find this Palys lineage geneology page.
Is perhaps in your search something tied with this story ?.....
Stephen Palys leaves Poland (Krackau?) at the end of 1800's.
He sires a Stephen Palys which is my father.
My father sires a Stephen Palys which is my brother.
We were raised on Staten Island but father and grandfather comes out of Red Hook, Brooklyn.
