I apologize for not seeing this posting before now. I'm glad to exchange any Pamplin / Jeane info that I have.

The "original" Bucksnort, TN was a community just north of Fayetteville, the county seat of Lincoln County. Our branch of Pamplins moved there from VA in 1820. Lilly May Pamplin wrote her book in 1962 +/- and referred to the various Pamplin kids & cousins as "The Scamps of Bucksnort". Her book was republished (with permission) in vol. 2 of our "Pamplin Family & Connections." This community is now referred to as Mimosa.
