I have records of him in Frederick and Hanover Counties, but have never found a reliable record that he married Mary Pamplin. One secondary source listed his first wife as Mary Pamplin, who died during childbirth with morning, and he soon remarried Temperance Harris. He had numeroud children with both wives. The record could have burned in the Hanover County Courthouse, but I'm determined to find a reliable source.
