Robert James (Judge) Pamplin's parents were James Ligon Pamplin & Sarah Elizabeth Sparkman. James L. was born in 1827 in Lincoln Co. Tn. where my ancestors and many other Pamplins moved to in 1820. S.E. Sparkman was also b. in TN.
Brothers of Robt. James Pamplin included Mack Gilbert Pamplin, Sr. & William A. Pamplin. Yes, Mack G. & Robt. J. married sisters. All 3 brothers were born in MO. per the 1860 census of Linn County Kansas. James L. Pamplin dies in 1853 & Sarah Elizabeth Sparkman Pamplin remarried a James Arnett & they moved to Kansas.
