Mary Jane Pamplin and Obadiah Gordon were married 15-Oct-1834 in Nelson County, VA. I have her birth date as c.1817 and his as c.1797. I am embarrassed that I don't have sources for this info but I will get them and send them to you as soon as I can. Mervyn Williamson, another descendant found on the flyleaf of an old book that Mary Jane was born 29-Sep-1811. Perhaps the 1817 was misread as 1811. I'll check census.
