Sorry I missed your previous post. There is a lot of Panizza in Vermiglio. Did you have to take a look in www.familysearch.org? I guess that you have a couple of typos also in their names. Malleo should be Matteo and Catternia should be Cattarina (or Catterina).

In this site I found a Matteo Panizza who married Maria Smalzi in Vermiglio, Trento, Italy in 1880. They may fit with the dates you described. I guessed that Cattarina was born about 1880+ given that your mother was born about 1914. There are Panizza there in Vermiglio at least since 1770+.

Did you were able to check your grandmotherís family name? This will be quite useful in order to know of this Matteo is the one.
