Hello,
my name is Randy Pantle and I live in Stayton,Oregon. My gg grandpa whose name was John Pantle was born and raised in a german town outside of Stuttgart germany called Hof und Lembach. I was able to visit this town while I was stationed there in the Army. GG grandpa Pantle was born in June 1835 and immigrated to America in 1855. He settled in lancaster,PA. where he met his wife,Anna Catherine Holweger and they were married Dec. 26, 1857. The Pantle's over the years moved from Pennsylvania to Illinois then to Emporia Kansas. My GG grandpa had nine children. Jacob Pantle, Martha Steiner, John Pantle, Mary Wyatt, Rose Deitz, Sara Young, Carrie Simmons, O.Pantle, Edward Pantle ( Edward Pantle is my G grandpa). GG grandpa died in Aug. 19th 1921 in Emporia. His wife Anna died on Sept. 8th 1913 and both are buried in the Maplewood cemetery in Emporia. If you have any questions about these people I might be able to help. Randy Pantle
