Hi Elizabeth!
My name is Kandi. I am looking for the Pantle family of Scranton Pennsylvania as well. My grandmother's name was Elizabeth Jean Pantle. She prefered to go by Jean Pantle. Later, she married my grandfather: John Karaffa. Eventually, they moved to Syracuse, Ny for my grandfather to get work.
My grandmother was adopted by her parents. I do not know when she was adopted, but her birthday was on April 1st. Sadly, she passed away on May 10, 1998.
My grandmother was my best friend. I was very interested in her side of the family. She told me some, but not all. Her records are now lost since she died.
If you have any information, or ways I can receive more information, I would love to hear about it.
