Dick -

Looking for information about Joseph (Joe) Panus, born March 10, 1891 immigrated from Strackonice, Czechoslovakia in 1906 through Ellis Island. According to records, he was sponsored by a Frank Panus in St. Louis. He was traveling with an older Joseph Panus and Antonia (not his parents, but unsure of relationship - possibly an uncle), a young Frank Panus (possibly a cousin) and 2 other children. Any information you have would be helpful to "flesh-out" the story. Joe Panus' parents were Charles Panus and Catherine Sip. From my knowledge, they remained in the old country. Any information on either of them would be helpful as well. Joe Panus married on August 27, 1913 in St. Louis to Mary A. Hrdlicka. He died September 2, 1964.

Regards -

Dennis
