Jan PAPE b: 15 Mar 1867 Westellingwerf, Friesland, NL
son of Nicolaas Adriaans PAPE (1835-1908)
Grietje Meines EITS (1839-1930)

I believe that JAN PAPE emigrated to the USA 10 May 1892
He was a cabinet maker and had a shop in Hawthorne.

Jan/John Pape
married @ 1898 Paterson, Passaic County, NJ to
Annigje Everts de Oude (1872-1901 or 1902)
Annigje emigrated to the USA 1896

2 children:
Margaret PAPE b: 1899 Paterson, NJ
Ann PAPE b: 1901 Paterson, NJ

both daughters were raised by their mother's sister
Elizabeth (de Oude) ANDRINGA and her husband "Sam".

Margaret married "Sid" SYTSMA and had 2 sons,
Louis and John. The family lived in Hawthorne in 1930
(Margaret's father John PAPE was living with them at that time.)

Ann married Pieter Piekema no children in 1930 Census

I believe JAN PAPE had 6 brothers and sisters:
Louisa b: 1858
Meine b: 1860 m: Frouke Luthmers
Grietje b: 1862
George b: 1864
Johannes b: 1870
Jantje b: 1879 m: Johannes Hendriks Groen
