Hattie Lucile Parchman (b Jan 6, 1884) was the daughter of Wesley C. Parchman (born Feb 25, 1839 in Macon, TN) and Liza A Patilla (born December 9, 1839 in MO). Wesley was the son of Wiley Jackson Parchman (b. 1814 in TN) and Emmaline Steadham (b. 1817 in SC). They moved with their related Parchman families to East Texas about 1841.

Hattie had a known sister, Minnie L. Parchman (born 1877). Hattie married L. C. Gaering, and Minnie married A. J. Blackstone. Parchmans and Blackstones intermarried in the San Antonio area. Most of Wiley Jackson's descendants settled in Mount Vernon.
