According to Kenneth Whitley in "Family Ties" Wiley Jackson Parchman's wife, Emmaline Stedham was born 1817 in South Carolina and James Wilkenson Parchman's wife, Elizabeth Stedham was born February 19, 1819 in Edgefield District, South Carolina.

Wiley Jackson married Emmaline on Nov 17, 1836 in Tennessee. James Wilkenson married Elizabeth on Oct 11, 1838 in Fayette Co., TN.

He doesn't say anything about their being sisters.

But considering that Wiley and James were brothers, the sons of Jesse, and looking at the above facts, it seems to me more than likely that Emmaline and Elizabeth were sisters. I'm just speculating on that, though.
