Hi Cindy,

If Edward was Edward L. Parchman, b. May 1872, listed in the 1880 census of Bee County Texas at age 9 and in the 1880 census of Bexar County with wife Maggie (Oct 1868) and son George E., b April 1898, I have some information on Edward's ancestors.

Edward L's father was Whitfield Monroe Parchman who is also buried in Sommerset. His mother was Mary Chism. Whitfield and Mary are my Great Grandparents. My grandfather was their son Ivy Whitfield. Some more children of Whitfield who are brothers and sisters of Edward L also lived in the Bexar/Atascosa County areas including Sommerset.

Let me know via email if you think we've got a hit here as if this is the right Edward, I've got lots of information on his parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.
