Two census records identify the child as Uriah: 1850, Stewart Co., TN, 403, #294: Uriah Parchment, 5, TN.
1850, Bowling Green, District 5, Stewart, #487: Uriah Parchman, 16, TN.

N.R. Parchman of Montgomery Co., TN applied for a Confederate pension for Civil War service in 2nd Kentucky Cavalry. (S-16060)

Nine Richard Parchman-Emaline Dunbar had a daughter Janie, b. 10 Sep 1886, Ellis Co., TX; d. 14 Jan 1959; m. Clyde William Kelly, b. 24 Aug 1887, New Providence, Montgomery Co., TN; d. 30 June 1966, Artesia, Los Angeles Co., CA, son of Samuel Walker Kelly, Jr. (1853, Dover, Stewart Co., TN-1934, Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN) and Ella Wheatley Smith (2 Sep 1855, New Providence-17 July 1897, New Providence). Samuel was a son of samuel Walker Kelly, Sr. (26 Jan 1824, Stewart Co., TN-3 Sep 1854, Dover, Stewart; bu. City Cemetery, Dover) m. 22 Oct 1850 Cynthia Ann Tomlinson (9 May 1829, Stewart-4 July 1919, Danville, Houston Co., TN, bu. Fowlkes Cemetery, near Bakerville, TN).

Cynthia Tomlinson was a sister of Emily Jackson Tomlinson, who m. Jacob Hogan Parchman; they were daughters of Uriah Tomlinson and Dilly Milam.

Appreciate pension record, census data, Bible records for Nine Richard, particularly anything indicating who his parents were. Appreciate, too, information about descendants, with full names, dates, places, sources.
