Can anyone help with my research into the PARENT family from Blanc Sablon.

All I Know is my 3 x Great Grandfather MARTIN PARENT, had a daughter ANNETTE PARENT ( born c1826 Newfoundland, died 25/3/1884 St Helier, Jersey. ) she married JEAN MAUGER,
I think in Canada, but not sure.

I have a will for MARTIN PARENT dated 16/8/1860, that states that he was residing in the bay of BLANC SABLON,
the witnesses being PHIL LEMPRIER of St Helier, Jersey and JOHN AUBIN of Trinity, Jersey.

I recall my Grandmother telling me some years back that her uncles were trappers in Canada and that MARTIN PARENT had a seal fishery in Canada.

Any help or advice would be most welcome.
Thank you in advance.
