Jacques Parent, private soldier in the Canadian fencibles, married Josephte Colin dit Laliberté (Nicolas and Marie-Josephte Courchesne), April 5, 1807, Trois-Rivières (church of England). Names of their parents were not written.

Jacques Parent could be the son of Jacques Parent and Catherine Drolet born March 3, 1780, at Beauport ?

Charles Parent, born April 2, 1808, at Trois Rivières, son of Jacques Parent and Josephte Lalibeté, married Rosalie Rousseau, (Jean-Baptiste Rousseau and Marguerite Gauthier) November 6, 1826, Trois-Rivières (catholic church).
Jacques Parent and Josephte Laliberté had an another child : Marie born September 13, 1810, at Québec.
