Arms are hereditary only in the line of the direct, primary heir and are his/her property only.
As you will see, there are many coats of arms for "Parent," so there can be no such thing as THE Parent Coat of Arms.
But, this proves that people named Parent were not always and only hard working people of the soil or the trades.
