follow up to my last post:

my Richard Lewis was a butcher by trade (his son was also a butcher)... I would expect that Richard's father was also a butcher.

The first place I see Richard appearing in the England Census was in 1851 married to Elizabeth in parish West Derby, (liverpool, lancashire, england).

I found a [Benjamin Lewis, BUTCHER, Chapel Place, West Derby, T] on a Poll online.

Not completely sure that is the father of our Richard however he is the only butcher I have found so far besides my Richard.

Any help is appreciated.
