I have found a partial Rowan County, NC, 1833 estate record for a Faithy Park (a woman), whose administrator was John P. Winders, legatees: John Winders, Henry Hampton Winders, William Washington Winders, Naomi Winders, Chambers Winders, Elizabeth Ann winders, Martha Winders, Mary Elvira Winders, and Rial Thomas Winders. This Faithy can be found as "Faithy Parker" in the 1830 census for Davidson County, NC (created from Rowan in 1822)with John P. Winders (age 40-49)with a large family listed on the line directly below Faithy. This is probably the same John P. Winders found in Shelby Co., TN in the 1840 census (age 50-59) and seems a likely possible father for the legatees listed above. I believe the Naomi of the legatees married John Park in 1841; that legatee Mary E. Winders is the one who married William Taylor Dent; that Martha was married to John Gibbens (on the estate accounting, John Gibbens is receipted); and Elizabeth Ann married David Holobaugh. I'm trying to determine to which Park man Faithy might have been married - she was born c. 1751-1760. I just don't know enough about the Park line in Rowan Co., NC to put the pieces together. Would greatly appreciate hearing from a N.C. Park/Parks/Parke researcher! Deven Lewis email@example.com. (those are zeros after my name)
