UPDATE-PARK/E/S DNA Surname Project
I'd just like to take a moment to urge every researcher using this forum to take a look at the website for the PARK/E/S DNA Surname Project. We now have over 70 participants with new members joining every week, and the website itself has been revamped recently to make the matching test results a bit easier to grasp.
Along with the actual test result numbers is a page containing the lineage information of each participant, and you may well see someone there who connects to your own PARK/E/S line and can help knock down a brick wall here or there!
As I read through current and past messages here in the forum, I'm surprised how many are seeking information that can now be answered by recent DNA test results. A number of "fragment lines" have been merged with others, or have shown a genetic connection to a well-researched line leading back to a known PARK/E/S immigrant ancestor.
I would urge every PARK/E/S researcher using this forum to do two things:
#1-Take a moment to look at the DNA project website and see if your line is represented. If you have any questions about anything you see there, or about how to participate, please feel free to contact me at the email address available here or on the DNA website:

#2-Whether your line is represented or not, please consider joining the PARK/E/S DNA project by submitting a DNA sample yourself (if you are a PARK/E/S male) or finding a male PARK/E/S relative willing to donate a DNA sample.
We are already seeing an amazing amount of information coming from the 70 participants we currently have, and every new test in the database adds to that information, making it more valuable every day. This is a resource no PARK/E/S researcher should overlook!
Thanks,
Ken Parks
