I think I have found the James Parkins and William Parkins who were sons of James Parkins and his wife Elizabeth of Greenbrier Co., Virginia in the 1740 to 1825 time period. James and William Parkins were in Gallia Co., OH, in 1812 and left there by 1818. I believe they settled in Wayne and Madison Counties in Indiana. I am trying to nail this down now.

I believe James and William were both born between 1771 and 1780 in Greenbrier Co., VA. I donít believe the 1793 date of birth for James Parkins is correct. Same with William. I donít believe he was born in 1784. That is part of the reason no one seems to have located these two brothers out of the 10 children James and Elizabeth had. Something is known about the other 8 kids but nothing about James and William Parkins.
