My ex-husband is a Parkins from St. Thomas near London, Ontario. His family has been there for a few generations. His father's name was Ronald and his grandfather was Harry. Harry was a barber in St. Thomas and must have been born in the late 1800s. There are a number of Parkins still in St. Thomas, including my children, Ben and Joel. One of my partner's ancestors was Ann Parkin who came from England with her family when she was 10. Her Parents were Samuel and Mary Parkin or Parkins and her grandfather was Robert Parkin from Nottingham. I have no dates except Ann who was born in 1821. If you have any more information could you e-mail me?
