This sounds familiar, but with a few twists. My gggrandfather, John Wesley Parkins was born in 1856 to a John Harwood Parkins (b.1811) and Sarah Jane (Franklin) Parkins in Knoxville, Knox Co. IL. John Wesley was one of 14 children including a sister, Lucinda (b.1840 in Ohio) who married John Binge in 1857. Other siblings include: Hettie (b.1833) who married Emery Taylor, Margaret (b.1843), Maston (b.1844), Rachel (b.1847), David (b.1849), and Henry Franklin (b.1851).
