Hi Sue,

Your Knoxville Illinois gives me a new thought. I am the great Granddaughter of Lydia Ann Parkins Fields. Lydia Ann is buried here in Iowa in March 1957, but she is the second wife of William H Fields, who is buried in the Cememtery on the west edge of Galesburg, Illinois with his first wife. When seeing the Knoxville in the Parkins genforum, I thought this could be a long shot. The first wife died leaving William with 3 children. Lydia became his house keeper and caretaker for the children then married him and had two children of her own. I have no idea where she came from. My parents and my aunts have no record of her parents.

Is there any possible connection you can see with any of the Parkins you are connected to?

Any help or suggestions you can give will be appreciated.

Thank you,
Colleen Fields Rodibaugh
