John Nelson Parlee was s/o Abraham Nelson Parlee (c1827 - 30 Mar 1873) & Jane Dodd (4 Aug 1835 - 17 Aug 1913). Abraham Nelson was s/o Abraham Large Parlee (c1803 - 19 Dec 1875) & Eunice Rebecca Russell (c1805 - 14 Feb 1878). Abraham Large was s/o Abraham Parlee (c1773 - 3 Oct 1861) & Lydia Waddington (c1775 - 5 May 1849). Abrahm was s/o the Loyalist, Peter Parlee Sr. (c1736 - c1820) and Lydia Robbins. Peter the Loyalsit had been driven out of his home in Bucks Co., PA by the rebels in the early part of the American Revolution. He had lived there only a few years, coming originally from New Jersey. The line can be traced back 3 more generations through John Parlee & Jean Parlier to a French Huguenot, Jean Parlier in the 1600s.
