I have two conflicting entrees in my family tree. My gggrandmother was Arminta Parlee Powell b.9/1841 Van Buren Co. Iowa m. Isaac Newton Beeman 12/1865 Pettis,Adair, Missouri. Her Parents are given as Sarah and Edward Powell. Isaac and Arminta's 3rd child was named Edward. My grandmother was named Faye Arminta daughter of Ida Effie Beeman and Alonzo Edward Stalnaker. I have picture of Isaac and Arminta.
Arminta Parlee Due and Buford Due were the children of Barbara Powell and Willford Due of Maury Co. m. 6/1835 d. 8/1841.(from Powell,Barbara Maury Co. TN 1812-1841 in the Powell Family Genealogy Forum.
