Hi Mike. Thank you for responding. And, thank you for telling this family story ! I learned about the Huguenots by accident a year or two ago when I was trying to learn more about the man "Fanueil Hall" in Boston was named after ! Peter and Benjamin FANUEIL came from the Long Island, NY, Huguenots. And, I learned about the New Jersey families who went to Canada because of my EX's ancestors in NY and NJ. It was the FREDERICKS name but I couldn't get past his great-grandfather in Brooklyn. You are the only response I've had to the postings on this PARLEE family, so they must not be researching their family tree, yet ! Betty P.S. My ancestor, Calvin KIDDER, left southern NH to go to New Brunswick ~1784. We think he was not a Loyalist. He was only about 18, and we think he traveled with the families of his friends - who were Loyalists. Notify Administrator about this message?
