Dear John
Thanks so much for the info!It clarified some info I had and introduced me to some new people in my tree. I never knew who Mary Frances Smith's parents were and now i have another area to explore. I also never knew that Hiram W Parlee and Mary F were cousins, (a popular choice of folks in the 1800s. I have found the Parlee line of my family confusing to research as names are often repeated .
Mary Frances Smith and Hiram Warrington (as we knew him) Parlee Marriage dates match. However I have Hiram's bd as June 18 1866 , the death date matches. Mary F bd is june 10 1872.BDs are from 1901 census. I dont know when Mary F died as she remarried after Hiram died and moved to Boston I believe. She married a fellow by the name of Hartshorne.
Here is my conection to the Parlee line

Hiram W Parlee married Mary f Smith and they begat (lol)
Ella May born Apr.24 1894 (my g maternal grandmother)
Gorden Kenneth Born June 1st 1897
Hiram W bay died > 1 mar 7 1896
Baby? died Dec 21 1900
Their is a mystery in the family regarding Gorden K Parlee . Some say he died in the war ,another story is he was murdered. (my mom heard this story )I looked into the war theory and dicovered another Gorden K who was born the same year but had different parents. (died ww1)

Ella May Parlee married Harry delbert Miller in 1909(Ella was very young)and they begat
Edith Frances (my grandmother)
dorothy (died unmarried)
i remember meeting Ella once. She was a well loved person. I heard Mary F Walter i remember seeing once in a while and dorothy lived with her parents on Cliff st. in saint John all of her life. She was a very kind person. HARRY mller fought in ww 1 and was wounded in the leg. he ended up bedridden with arthritis.
Edith Frances married Ronald Carlin and they begat
Betty Frances
Dorothy Joan (my Mom) goes by Joan
Lorraine Edith
Joan (my mom) married Donald MacNeil 1949 and they begat
Judy (me)
I grew up in Saint John NB but moved to Vancouver Island in my late teens. Still here but have lots of relatives in NB
I noticed a Parlee from NB (forgot his name) maybe Nelson? He is buried in Duncan Bc where I live. i think he was married to a Eunice? Maybe related?
Anyway Thanks again I just love the stories that emerge from family trees!
