I hear you about the "J" names!!! At least they're not all John - I'm running into scads of them in my other lines and it's giving me a headache. The Parlimans seem to favor "James."
Thanks for your response. I was very excited to have some new names to check out. I didn't know the names of Jeremiah's father or grandfather. I also didn't know about the Germany connection - the year sounds right but I always thought they came from Holland. Are they our Parlimans?
At the moment I think there's very little more I can add...I do know the "Hattie" who was married to Oscar is Harriet Elizabeth Sparks and I can give you specific birth, marriage and death dates of everyone from Jeremiah down the line if you're interested. I also know the cemetery where a lot of Parlimans are buried. It's quite old so I hope to find a lot more data when I go there. If I do, I'll share!
