Hi Dan!
My Parliman connection we are quite sure came from the Palantinate area. They settled in ULSTLER AND ORANGE COUNTIES IN NEW YORK. The first one I know about was Johanne Parliman b. 1680. Several generations pass and my research at this time goes to Edward who made his will in Crawford, Orange co, NY in 1825. His son William born in 1803 (my line)married Maria Winfield, had William who married Emma Allibone in Dakota Territory. The elder William lived in Decorah Iowa, a Doctor for 60 years. In NY they belonged to the Dutch Reformed Church. Edward was a popular name and they were intertwined with the Winfield family. I have the obit of Maria's father Charles a prominent doctor. I hope some of this is a help. Maxine Kaul
