Is everyone here aware that the surname Parlin is in fact Scottish in origin, derived from the surname MacFarlane of of that clan bearing the same namesake?
Below is a link like many others you can find, and it's very interesting. Apparently the MacFarlanes were, for a time at least, royalty in Scotland and wore black kilts to attest to that.
