Dave:
I have just started researching the Parman family of Greene County Tn. and found quite a bit of information on the Giles Parman line on the ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tn/greene/deeds/parman03.text

I am concerned with the Emmanuel Parman and in particular
Samuel Parman , which appears to be the son of Emmanuel.
I know Samuel died in Vernon Co Mo. and his mother was living with him at the time.. There was also a Giles Parman in that area at the same time..

Samuel Parman was buried in the Deepwood Cemetery , Nevada Mo,as a Major in the Confederate CSA.. but I havenot been able to find what regiment or area he served in.

Were the Giles Parman families and the Emmanuel Parman families related..They both came from PA..and do you know where in PA.
