Hello Guy,
Just saw your posting. Which Parman line are you connected with. Most of my information is that of Giles Sr's son Frethias to his son Alex to John to Alex and Maggie. I will see if I can locate your line, but require your at least your Grandfather & his date of birth & location. Also regarding the Early 2 Parman immagrants I have found nothing further on them. The information concerning Giles Parman's father being Giles Parman b. 1732 is pure speculation. I would be glad to accept this as fact if anybody would show the documents that say he married a Dodson. More than likely Giles Parman was our 1st American Generation of Parman's. There is a document written by one of Giles Parman's Grandson's Girdner that says Giles parents where both English & he was full blooded English. Also Giles was said to have served in the Rev. War however records in Pennsylvania clearly show a Substitute serving in his place each time. What evidence exists that Giles Parman was born in Pa & not England?
