Hello Ms.Kemp. I am Guy Parman born and reared at Flag Branch, Greene Co., TN. I presently live in Pompano Beach, FL. My hope is to find all that I can about Giles Parman born in 1732 in Chester, PA. He married Mary Dodson, daughter of THOMAS DODSON and MARY PRIGG. She was born 1736. On down through his son GILES FRANKLYN PARMAN,b. abt 1758, Luzerne Co. PA(1790 Census):d. 1832, Corbin, KY .TO his son Emanuel(b. 12 Dec. 1776, in Luzerne Co., Chester PA/.d. 16 Feb. 1856, G'ville, Greene Co., Flag Branch, TN) ON TO son Daniel Parman b. 17 July 1816, G'ville, Greene Co.,Flag Branch, TN, d.on 4 July 1864, Military Civil War in Knox Co.,. and is burried in the Parman Family Cemetery Greene Co., TN. My first cousin, Dorothy Fillers Waddell now owns the PARMAN ESTATE on which the Family Cemetery is located. ON TO his son James Hancher Parman( my grandfather) b. 17 May 1858, d. 4 July 1926) this happened at the same location as stated above. ON TO MY FATHER(Wm. Herbert Parman b. 17 Jan. 1892, d. 7 Jan 1950) all at Greene Co., TN . THEN TO LITTLE 'OLE ME, Guy Parman b. 10 Aug. 1926. I hope that you can help ME OF THIS ARDUOUS DEAL.
