Coatney definately was the daughter of Marion "Francis" Parret an Rebecca Riley. Coatney was born on April 16, 1780 and died on October 17, 1947. Coatney was a sister to my great-grandmother, Virginia "Jennie" May Parret. Coatney was born in Bond County, Illinois.
Clara Bell Parret was also a sister to "Jennie" and Coatney. Clara Bell was born February 27, 1874 in Bond county, Illinois and died December 7, 1909. Clara married first a William Rufus Wilkins between 1891-1894 and they had three children (Martin Luther Wilkens, Mary Rebecca Wilkens and Eddie Floyd Wilkens). She then married lawrence Thornbrough in about 1901. Together Clara and Lawrence Thornbrough had 4 children (Leonard Everett Thornbue, Nute Anthony "Tony" Thornbrue, May Frances Thornbrue and Orley Thornbue).
Hope this clears this up!
