Sorry, Cindy, I really don't have much on the Parrett family so I don't know about a Cherokee connection. The first I knew about Parretts was connecting Charles Anderson Thornbrugh with Coatney Parrett. It's the Thornbrugh family that my daughter-in-law belongs to. She is descended from Charles' sister Barbara Thornbrugh.
That's interesting about Coatney dying from poison, wonder how that happened.
Yes you're right, the Thornbrughs and Parretts certainly mixed together alot.
