Variant spellings of Parrinder surname
Posted by: Carol A Metcalf (ID *****2373) Date: August 14, 2002 at 17:22:53

I've learnt (from my distant cousin, Steve Parrinder) that this surname has numerous variant spellings. These include: Palender, Palinder, Pallender, Pallinder, Parender, Parinder, Parrener, Parrenor, Parrener, Parriner, Parrander, Parrender, Parronder. These all appear to have a common origin, probably somewhere in the Lincolnshire area.

If you came to this bulletin board because you are researching a name with a spelling similar to Parrinder, there's a good chance that you've come to the right place!

Despite these multiple spellings, the family does not appear to be particularly numerous, judging from historical records.
