From your Subject line I was sure we had a match, but I think we're missing a generation or two. I have Felix Parse immigrating from Scotland to NJ in the late 1700's. His son Isaac Hendricks Parse (b. 1793) married Hannah Miller and had 8 kids (that I know of), none of whom was named William. However, I think the combination of father-Felix and son-Hendricks seems too close to your Felix Hendrix to be a coincidence. I bet it's one of Isaac's 8 kids who had your Felix and William. We'll keep looking, and I bet we find a connection!
