Hi. I am a "by marriage" relative. My daughter is a Parse. I was interested in your finding as I also was able to sketchily follow the family back to NJ. I found Parse and Parce both in NJ, within 15 miles of each other. I was told that the original Parse was Norman. Nothing tangible to base it on, I am very interested in what you have since 1793. I think Mel's family came to Washington three generations ago from the Dakotas, and before that, from NJ, having come through NY or Canada. There are a number of Parse's here in Olympia Washington, all related.
