Thanks so much, Sandy! I had found a record for a Sarah Hire but her year of birth matched Sarah Partlow's, so I did not think they were mother and daughter. I just started on this side of my family (been doing genealogy for about a year now) and have had little luck. Thanks for the info you found. I'll check into that also. Too bad our Partlows aren't related. That would have been great! I haven't found any relatives from that side besides my mom's sibling's families. Canada sounds like a good bet, since Sarah and Stephen's child married someone from Canada. I'll look into that, also. Good luck with your own Partlows, too. Again, thanks!
